AI Features Summary
When you need an internal AI or enterprise AI, you can use one directly within the workspace instead of entrusting your data to an external service. The local AI features below run inside the workspace, so conversation content and files are never sent outside. (The exception is MCP integration for connecting external AI, which is covered separately below in External AI Integration.)
AI-powered features are scattered throughout the workspace. This document brings them together in one place.

| Requesting Work from the Local AI | Have AI handle search, schedule creation, work summaries, and even email drafts, right from chat. |
| AI Chat File | Save conversations with AI as a file, then reopen it later to continue or share it with team members. |
| Context Search (AI Search) | Finds related files by understanding meaning, even without an exact keyword. |
| Image Search | Finds text within images, or images that are visually similar to a pasted image. |

- These features are only available once an administrator configures a local AI in AI Model Settings.
- Email automation requires the email plugin to be installed and enabled.
- External AI integration (MCP) requires an administrator to configure it separately in MCP Server Management.
