Email Introduction
The SetFN Email plugin is a self-hosted email system that stores all email data only on your own server. It can be used like a webmail client you open right in your browser, but as an internal company mail system — the SetFN server does not store message bodies or attachments, only relaying them. It lets organizations that handle sensitive information, such as hospitals, law firms, and research institutes, use email safely.
Key Features
1. Local Storage
Email files (.eml) are kept in your own storage. SetFN, which relays the email, does not store the message body or attachments.
2. Security
Email is protected in transit by a mutually authenticated tunnel (mTLS). The SetFN relay server only processes the minimum information needed for delivery, such as address, subject, and timestamp.
3. Multi-Account & Shared Account Support
One person can have multiple accounts, and multiple people can also share a single account.
