Introducing SpaceBuilder

SpaceBuilder is an installable piece of software that lets you build your own online space directly on your computer.
SpaceBuilder is not a cloud service. It is software in which the computer you install it on acts as the server itself.
Inside this space, you can use:
- A Workspace for managing files and collaborating with your team
- A WebSpace for building and publishing websites and databases
- Plugins that help you make even better use of your space
Where can you install it?
- A PC at the office or at home
- A laptop
- A small computer such as a Raspberry Pi
- An in-house server or a cloud VM
How can you use it?
- In-house groupware/collaboration tool: Keep it on an office PC and use it like an internal cloud your whole team shares
- Home server: Install it on a home PC and use it as your own personal cloud for files and photos
- Repurposing idle hardware: Turn an unused laptop or old PC into a server
- Dedicated lab/research server: Run it as a dedicated server for sharing research data or large files with your team
- Low-power always-on server: Install it on a Raspberry Pi and run it around the clock without worrying about power consumption
If the PC loses power or the executable is closed, your workspace connection is cut off as well.

Server and GPU environments
SetFN SpaceBuilder can be used not only on regular PCs but also in server and AI-accelerated environments.

If you plan to operate a server or make active use of AI features, it's a good idea to review CPU architecture, memory, disk, GPU, and network configuration before installing.
Editions and licensing
SetFN SpaceBuilder is available in a Community Edition and an Enterprise Edition. The available features, plugin scope, number of users, and support options may vary by edition.
