Trash
The Trash menu lets you check deleted files and folders. Use it to restore items that were deleted by mistake or to permanently delete items you no longer need.
Opening Trash
Click Trash in the left sidebar.
In the Trash list, you can check the name, original location, user who deleted it, and deletion time of deleted files and folders. The screen layout may vary depending on service settings or permissions.
Checking Deleted Items
In Trash, items are shown primarily with the following information.
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The name of the deleted file or folder. |
| Original location | The location where the file or folder was before it was deleted. |
| Deleted by | The user who deleted the item. |
| Deletion date/time | The time the item was moved to Trash. |
Restoring
Select the item you want to restore, then run Restore. When restored, the file or folder returns to its original location.
Restoration may be restricted if the original location has been deleted or you no longer have access permission. In this case, check with your administrator or a user who has folder permission.
Permanently Deleting
Items you no longer need to keep can be Permanently Deleted. After permanent deletion, the item disappears from Trash as well, and users cannot restore it themselves.
For important documents, contracts, and data files, always confirm the target and location before permanently deleting.
Good to Know
- The items visible in Trash and the actions available may vary depending on the user's permissions.
- Files in team folders are handled based on team permissions, and files in personal folders are handled based on personal space permissions.
- Permanently deleted items cannot be restored through ordinary means, so proceed with caution.
